One of a kind mushroom sprite!

Here is a little mushroom sprite sculpted from polymer clay with a real walnut shell for its face! 

I was inspired to make these little woodland sprites after walking through the woods one day and seeing all the walnut shells on the ground under the trees. They looked just like little faces staring up at me, so I decided to create bodies for them and here they are! 

Each one is unique; hand sculpted from polymer clay over a wire armature then painted with acrylic paints. They measure about 3 to 4 inches high. Each one is signed by me, the artist. These guys are sturdy but still breakable, so I wouldn't recommend them for small children.
